Welcome to Sotuland Studio (“Sotuland”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://sotuland.com (the “Site”) and any products or services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).
By visiting the Site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept every part, please refrain from using the Site.

We operate in accordance with Estonian consumer-protection law, the EU E-Commerce Directive and other applicable international trade regulations.

2. Eligibility & Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during checkout or account registration and to keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials; Sotuland is not liable for unauthorised account use.

3. Products & Services

3.1 Print-on-Demand & Studio-Printed Goods

Most physical items (T-shirts, posters, etc.) are printed and fulfilled by Printful, Inc. Selected specialty products are printed and shipped directly from our studio in Tallinn. Mock-ups are illustrative; slight colour or positioning variations may occur.

3.2 Digital / Custom Artwork

For bespoke illustration projects we supply high-resolution digital files (300 DPI) in agreed formats. Unless otherwise stated in writing, you receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, commercial licence upon full payment. Sotuland retains underlying copyright for portfolio display.

4. Ordering Process

  1. Add items to your cart or request a custom quote.
  2. Review & confirm order details.
  3. Pay securely (see § 5).
  4. Receive an order-confirmation e-mail.
  5. Items are produced and shipped (or digital files delivered) after payment clears.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for suspected fraud, pricing errors or violation of these Terms.

5. Prices & Payment

  • Prices are shown in euros (EUR) by default; US‑dollar (USD) pricing is also available and will be displayed automatically for buyers in the United States or when selected at checkout. If we become VAT‑registered in future, VAT will be calculated and displayed where applicable.
  • We accept major credit/debit cards (processed via Stripe), EveryPay bank-link options, PayPal and any other methods shown at checkout.
  • Quotes for custom work are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • We may change prices without notice, but confirmed orders retain their original price.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Fulfilment sources
    • Printful’s fulfilment centres (US/EU) for the majority of print-on-demand products.
    • Sotuland’s own studio in Tallinn for limited-edition or hand-finished items.
  • Estimated delivery dates are guidelines, not guarantees. Customs or carrier delays are outside our control.
  • Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier.
  • Import duties or taxes are your responsibility.

7. Returns & Cancellations

7.1 Physical Products

If your item is misprinted, damaged or defective, contact legal@sotuland.com within 30 days of delivery with photos. We will arrange a reprint or refund. Because all products are made-to-order, we cannot accept returns for buyer’s remorse (wrong size, change of mind).

7.2 Digital / Custom Artwork

Down-payments for bespoke projects are non-refundable once work has begun. Reasonable revisions are included at sketch, line-art and colour stages as outlined in the project proposal.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site (graphics, text, code, designs) is the property of Sotuland or its licensors and protected by international copyright laws.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute or exploit any Site content without written permission.
  • Client-supplied materials must not infringe third-party rights; you grant us a licence to use such materials solely for your project.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Sotuland, its owners and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service in dispute.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sotuland from any claim or demand (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any dispute not resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Harju County Court, Tallinn, Estonia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics or interruptions of internet services.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date will change, and updates take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
